Making The Royal Sugar

Royal Icing

Royal Icing Using Meringue Powder

4 cawan (500 grams) confectioners' (icing) sugar

3 sudu makan (30 grams) meringue powder - kurang pun boleh

1/2 teaspoon extract (vanilla, lemon, orange)

1/2 - 3/4 cawan (120 - 180 ml) air suam

campur semua dan pukul dengan kelajuan pelahan 5-7 minit lepas tu tinggikan kelajuan
pukul sampai kembang 10-15 minit lagi...kadang2 kena tambah gula atau air ni kena
adjust sendiri...guna serta merta...tutup lebih supaya tak kena angin..nanti keras.
kalau keras kena pukul semula guna aja senduk kayu.

Black Jacket

take my sleep away...I can't sleep well that night when a friend make an oder ~ jacket cake ~ for her beloved fiance...keep wondering how to make it, thank god, luckly..manage to get a sample from one of my books ~making a cake by nilsen & sarah*

cuti 2 hari buat kek ni ...maklumlah buat kerja tanpa formal training..trial and error.....nasib baik fondant tu tak merajuk...asik kena gomol..hehehe..awal2 dah letak gumpaste lebih supaya kukuh.....alhamdulillah dapat juga hasil yang diidamkan...dalam gambar nampak klass...walaupun nampak stiff jacket tu

majlis gemilang
Idea kek ni diambil daripada buku Wilton Bridal Cakes (1985)...dasar yang nampak macam kain baldu tu.. favourite boiled fruit cakes.. guna 6 biji kek , bahagian tengah.... butter orange cake... kek paling atas..butter cherries cake oleh seorang sahabat...sayang tak dapat nak ambil gambar kek ni selepas siap menghias meja pada malam jamuan dengan background yang gemerlapan..







wow I love this cake...I did once in 1999, for a suprise gift to two dear friends on their wedding day. I used strawberries and plum instead. Great and lovely...keep it up. Nice cakes you have here. Wed 11-Jun-2008 10:05

Sambutan Yang mengembirkan

Hantaran Hazura

Fondant
satu lagi resipi yang saya biasa guna
Bahan Yang Perlu:.....
3 sudu makan gliserin
5 sudu makan glukosa
2 sudu makan gelatin halal
8 sudu makan air
1 kilo gula aising diayak beberapa kali atau lagi baik
kisar sekali lagi biar lebih halus
Cara membuatnya:…
Masukkan bahan cecair masak kaedah double boiler bila cair tuang ke atas gula icing sedikit demi dan ulilah sampai tak lekat. Masuk kedalam plastik dan biar dua jam baru guna. Sapu tangan dengan sedikit shortening bila menguli dan nak membentuk fondant dan shortening akan membantu melambatkan proses mengeras dan sempatlah nak membentukkan nya.
